Written in 1929 by Jewish composer John W. Green, with lyrics by Edward Heyman and Robert B. Sour, “Body and Soul” played a major role in smashing the color barrier in popular music and remains one of the most recorded songs in the jazz repertoire.

With performances by: Louis Armstrong, The Benny Goodman Trio, John Coltrane, Dianne Schuur, Jack Hylton, Libby Holman
