In Between

Warning: Contains language, drug use, and sexual content.
Fighting for the right to live on their own terms, three Palestinian women choose a life of freedom in the vibrant heart of Israel and share a Tel Aviv apartment away from their home villages. While straining under societal expectations and struggling to be true to themselves, they find their independent paths, including the “right” romantic partners, and they develop a sisterhood while negotiating being Arab-Israeli in a predominantly Jewish society. With a rocking score by MG Saad, unforgettable performances and engaging camerawork, In Between is a heart-thumping exploration of human frailty and resilience in the face of Israel’s ever-changing social landscape. Putting a rarely depicted spin on the genre tropes of Sex and the City, this is a story of friendship, feminine power, and the toll of patriarchal societies.
